Sir, I was dismayed to read in your columns of last week that our representatives on Tenby Town Council have written to Pembrokeshire County Council recommending that the Tenby residents' parking scheme be totally scrapped. Most of the reasons given for this recommendation seemed on the whole to be vague and spurious and need to be countered. I hope that, like me, all Tenby residents' parking scheme holders will write in protest to their councillors on Tenby Town Council and to the director of transportation and the environment at Pembrokeshire County Council to voice their opposition to this Tenby Town Council initiative. Only by making written representations can our voices be heard before the county council consider this proposal, which I understand will be in the near future.
