Further to the recent extremely successful walk-in vaccination clinics held at The Regency Hall, it has been confirmed by Saundersfoot Medical Centre that a further delivery of vaccine is imminent, with the vaccination of Group 5 (65 to 69) to commence at The Regency Hall on Tuesday (February 23) starting at 9 am.

Saundersfoot’s county councillor Clr. Phil Baker gave an update this week to keep everyone informed of the vaccination roll out in the village and surrounding area.

“As there is advance notification for this delivery, Saundersfoot Medical Centre will be telephoning to invite residents in this Group to attend, this will not be a ‘walk-in’ clinic,” said Clr. Baker.

“This will be one of a series of clinics for this Group and Saundersfoot Medical Centre asks that everyone is patient whilst waiting for a telephone call.

“In addition the Medical Centre are contacting and inviting any residents who have not been vaccinated in Groups 1 to 4 and Hywel Dda Health Board are undertaking a similar exercise for the Groups that they have been vaccinating.”

The Welsh Government and Hywel Dda UHB are targeting that all Priority Groups 1 to 9 will be offered an immunisation by Easter 2021.
