Llongyfarchiadau! Congratulations to 10 pupils from St Oswald's VA School on their achievement in the Pembroke area Urdd Eisteddfod which took place last week in Heywood Lane Infants School, Tenby.

It is the first time that pupils from the school have entered this competition. They did exceptionally well, achieving a first and second in the Welsh learners' recitation for Year 1 and 2 (Carl Thomas and Morgan Grieve, respectively), third in the solo singing Year 1 and 2 (Emma Thomas), second in the Welsh learners' recitation Year 3 and 4 (Islay Rhys-Davies) and third in the solo singing Year 5 and 6 (Lorna James).

Best wishes go to Carl Thomas who will go on to compete in the second round of the competition in Fishguard tomorrow (Saturday).
