PICTURED is ex-Tenby Dolphin and Pembroke Aces swimmer, Joann Randles, from Valley Road, Saundersfoot, proudly wearing her university track suit, while taking time out from her undergraduate studies last weekend, to represent Kingston University at the British Universities and Colleges Sport long course swimming event in Ponds Forge, Sheffield.

This is one of the major events in the BUCS calendar, which brings together students from some of the UK's top sporting universities and Olympic champions.

Jo thoroughly enjoyed the experience, which gave her the opportunity to compete in arguably the UK's premier 50m swimming pool.
