Tenby United Seconds recorded their second league win of the season last weekend. The game got off to a very good start for the Seasiders, who were playing into a strong wind, when a very well worked driving lineout saw scrum-half Neil Duffy score the first try. The Seconds were again superbly led by skipper Delwyn Brace, who took the bull by the horns, alongside prop Mark Badham and the back row of Adam Rees, Chris Williams and John Stephens. Tries came thick and fast for the visitors, with outstanding play from forwards and backs, allowing John, Stephens, Williams, Badham and centre Davids to cross the line before half-time. In the second half, Tenby managed to score two more tries through Davids and livewire Rees. Spirit is very high in the team at the moment, and this showed with fine performances coming from Ben Cray, Mike Lewis and Craig Hamilton up front, which provided a solid platform for the backs to do their job. And with Brace slotting over seven out of eight conversions, the Seasiders look in good shape. Coach Russ Millns and player-manager Chris 'Faddy' Thomas were both pleased with the win, but emphasised that there was still work to be done, with everyone urged to make it to training. Next up for Tenby United Seconds tomorrow (Saturday) is a trip to Fishguard. Team was: L. Rose, N. John, D. Rees, N. Duffy, D. Brace (capt), J. Davies, A. Davids, C. Hamilton, M. Lewis, M. Badham, E. Pickard, B. Cray, A. Rees, C. Williams, J. Stephens. Replacements - C. Thomas, C. Beynon, R. Millns, D. Richards, M. Stephens.
