The Tenby United RFC Lottery was formed four years ago. At that time, Mr. Nigel Edwards was voted in as chairman of the committee responsible for running it and that is a position he still holds today. "We now enter our fifth year and would invite new subscribers to join us," he said this week. "We would like to extend our grateful thanks to our members who still support us and to anyone who has supported us in the past." Since its conception, an amazing total of £43,200 has been awarded to the lucky winners of the lottery, with a further £37,000 having been donated to the Rugby Club itself. This has benefited the club in several different ways, helping with the supply of kit and balls, as well as travelling expenses, coaching fees and many other worthy causes. The lottery will continue to support all sections of the club, particularly the playing sections, from the mini sides right through to senior level.
