Pet owners in Pembrokeshire now have a choice of two RSPCA clinics within the county.
From this month, the Kingston Veterinary Group (KVG) is running RSPCA clinics at its bases in Pembroke and Milford Haven.
On Tuesdays, between 11 am and 12.30 pm, pet owners will be able to access an RSPCA clinic at KVG's practice at 83-85 Main Street, Pembroke. On Mondays, between 10 and 11.30 am, a clinic will also be held at its facility in the Imperial Buildings in Milford Haven.
RSPCA clinics are open to all pet owners who are on means tested benefits. The purpose of the clinics is to provide affordable, preventative and remedial treatment for pet owners. Clients can register up to three pets from the same household.
Jayne Lloyd-Woods, principal partner of the Kingston Veterinary Group, said: "We are delighted that we can now offer these RSPCA clinics to more people within Pembrokeshire. Pet owners face significant travel challenges as they seek veterinary care within the county, so opening these two clinics should make a big difference to both pets and owners."
Anyone wishing to attend the clinics should make an appointment, either calling the Milford Haven clinic on Milford Haven 01646 695866 or the Pembroke clinic on 01646 622943.
