Two people were rescued from the water after their dinghy capsized on Saturday.

Angle RNLI all-weather lifeboat and Dale and Tenby Coastguard Rescue Teams were tasked to assist the Laser dinghy and its crew which had got into difficulty off Black Tar, Llangwm, shortly before 4 pm.

Once on scene, the lifeboat launched the 'Y' boat and recovered two persons from the water and landed them to safety ashore.

Coastguards on scene were able to offer safety and medical advice.

The two casualties were holidaying in the area from Bethnal Green, London.

They had capsized several times and were fortunate to be seen by a concerned member of the public who witnessed them unable to get back into their boat, from his home in Port Lion.
