Tenby's inshore lifeboat was launched twice on Sunday to deal with separate incidents
While on exercise in the North Bay, the ILB was requested by Milford Haven Coastguard to proceed to the Lydstep Haven area where an object had been spotted in the sea at approximately 11.15 am.
On arrival, the ILB crew found a red cover which had come from a piece of public safety equipment.
This was handed to the Tenby Coastguard Rescue Team at Lydstep beach.
The second callout was approximately 1.45 pm when Tenby Coastguard Rescue Team requested assistance to locate a four-year-old child who had gone missing on Coppet Hall beach.
As the ILB approached the beach, the child was found. The ILB returned to station.
