Tenby received a mention on an episode of ‘Tales from the Coast with Robson Green’, a local councillor was delighted to inform her colleagues this week.

Speaking at Tuesday night’s meeting of the town council, Clr. Mrs. Tish Rossiter said that one episode of the ITV programme recently screened, saw Robson hold a reunion in Pembrokeshire as he met up with his former Soldier Soldier co-star and singing partner Jerome Flynn, who now lives in the county.

“There was a quick flash of Tenby’s Castle Beach featured, showing the story when someone popped the question by writing ‘Marry Me’ in the sand. It was a very good programme,” said Clr. Mrs. Tish Rossiter.

Speaking of his time filming in Wales for the series, Robson said: “My journey along the Pembrokeshire coast has been full of new experiences, it’s brought me closer to nature, and at times, scared the living daylights out of me. But it’s also made me realise how being by the coast can really get the heart beating.”
