THREE Welsh-speaking sisters who live in Tenby are being featured on the S4C interiors programme '04 Wal' next Wednesday at 9 pm. Jill, Pauline and Linda Rowlands, originally from Drefach, near Carmarthen, all worked in hotels and restaurants in Tenby through their school and college holidays, with their dream being to one day live in the town and overlook the sea. Their wish has come true as the sisters now live in three beautiful and stylish homes in the seaside town, which can all be seen in the S4C programme. "The three of us love shopping in junk shops and markets here and abroad to pick up interesting or quirky objects which would enhance our homes," said Pauline, whose London house has also been featured on a previous programme. Jill, a retired college vice-principal, was used to managing large budgets, but prefers the challenge of using smaller resources. As she explained: "It's much more satisfying to create somewhere beautiful on a tight budget than it is to throw money at it." Linda's creative flair is demonstrated in her shop, Seren, in St. George's Street, which is also featured in the programme. Since opening the shop last Easter, it has become a magnet for locals and visitors who are looking for unique and stylish clothes and gifts. The three sisters have also worked on houses and offices in London, helping people to realise the full potential of their living or workshop space. They can be contacted on 01834 842872 for anyone seeking advice and ideas on interior design.
