Jim Taylor, of Warren Street, Tenby, called in to our office last week to report seeing a Turnstone bird at the harbour.
"I spotted a strange-looking bird in the sluice," said Jim.
"It started turning stones over looking for crustaceans and at once I knew it was a Turnstone. I have heard of it, but never seen one before.
"It was a beautiful bird with a white chest and wonderful plumage and was about three-quarters the size of a thrush."
