Married at St. Issell's Church, Saundersfoot, on Saturday, were Mr. Huseyin Alton and Miss Debbie Morgan.

The groom, a chef, is the eldest son of Ismail and Sutiye Alton, of Gaziantep, Turkey, while the bride is the eldest daughter of David and Catherine Morgan, of 7 Morgans Way, Summerhill.

Given away by her father, the bride wore a stunning gown in champagne duchess satin, with a fitted beaded bodice and skirt, featuring bustle detail flowing into a full-length train. The dress was complemented by a matching stole and a champagne veil edged in gold with crystal droplets, which was held in place by a glittery gold and crystal tiara.

Bridesmaids were Emma Wilson (bride's friend) and Tammie Morgan (bride's sister-in-law), who wore strapless cranberry dresses with beaded bodices, and Cherie Morgan (bride's sister), who wore a cranberry and ivory dress with cranberry flowers on the skirt.

Best man was Garip Ekinci, groom's uncle, and the ceremony was conducted by Canon Michael Butler and Rev. Nick Cale.

During the signing of the register, the bride's sister, Cherie, sang a beautiful solo 'Clare's Benediction', and the children of St. Issell's Sunday Group, which the bride's parents help to lead, sang two items, 'Be Still' and a specially adapted version of 'Come and Join the Celebration', written for the occasion by fellow Sunday Group leaders Andrea, Helen and Nina.

A reception was held at the Gower Hotel, Saundersfoot.

The couple will be taking their honeymoon in Turkey later in the year, when a Turkish wedding ceremony will be held.

They will be making their home at Flat 6, Llanion House, Devonshire Road, Pembroke Dock.
