TROT runners have been busy running in 10km and half marathon races.

Caroline Jones was third female to finish the St. David's 10km race held at Bute Park in Cardiff. Jason Dickinson ran well. Caroline Jones successfully completed the San Dominico 20 -mile race. Ian Wiiliams ran well at the Bath half marathon, while his father, Brian Williams, came second in his age category at the Pembrokeshire Coast Endurance Trail half marathon.

Fourteen TROTs ran the Waterside half marathon at Llanelli. Caryl Jones was the female winner. Positions were as follows: Kevin Griffiths 25th, Ben Perkins 66th, Caroline Jones 90th, Mark Terry 96th, Cyril Walters 206th, Claire Clethero 271st, Jason Dickinson 310th, Chris Birch 325th, Peter Walters 342nd, Martin Davies 434th, Amanda Morgan 647th, Oona Crawford 862th and Pauline Thomas 910th.

The 10km Welsh Championships were held at Atlantic College in Cardiff. Caryl Jones was the female winner, winning a gold medal. Cyril Walters and Ann Rowell also won gold medals for their age categories. Ben Perkins and Dan Unsworth both ran well.
