There were some great successes from TROT runners at the Cardiff half marathon.
Caryl Jones was the first Welsh female winner. Ann Thomas and Caroline Jones wre first in their age category. Both Caryl and Ann achieved a personal best time.
Positions of TROT runners were as follows: Caryl Jones 34th, Ann Thomas 125th, Martin Davies 188th, Roger Coombs 402nd, Caroline Jones 466th, Mark Terry 527th, Jon Hancock 565th, Ben Perkins 1218th, Lindy Eynon 1233rd, Paul Cowper 1270th, Chris Birch 1614th, Megan Thomas 1740th, Amanda Morgan 4082nd, Lon Morgan 4215th, Oona Crawford 6246th and Pauline Thomas 6360th.
Nineteen TROT runners ran at Bridgend in the first race this season of the Gwent Cross Country League.

The TROT ladies team finished first on the day and are currently top of Division One. Caryl Jones, Ann Thomas, Mel Watson and Pauline Thomas were all first in their age categories.
