Four TROTs competed at Pembrey in the 10-mile multi-terrain race. Caroline Jones was third in her age category, while Cyril Walters was first male over 60 to finish. Also running were Mark Terry and Peter Walters.
Ian Williams competed at the 10km Leeds Abbey Dash, while his father, Brian Williams, successfully completed the half marathon coastal trail along the Gower.
Further afield, Lon and her daughter, Amanda Morgan, ran the Barbados marathon, both coming first in their age groups.
At the tough Ras y Mas, race seven TROTs competed. Martin Davies was 18th, Caryl Jones, 19th and Mark Terry 20th. Caryl came second in her age category and Mark was third male over 50 to finish. Dave Griffiths was 45th, Claire Cleathero 49th, Megan Thomas 55th and Mike Hodges 64th.
At the third Gwent League cross country race, which was held in Bristol, there was a good turnout of TROT runners. Nicola Sykes for the second time won the female race. Caryl Jones was 7th, Rhiannon Ace 16th, Melissa Watson 25th, Caroline Jones 48th, Lindy Eynon 64th, Helen Williams 96th, Ann Rowell 112th, Pauline Thomas 130th and Susan Thomas 143rd.
The men's team comprised Ian Williams coming 19th, Kevin Griffiths 87th, Roger Coombs 115th, Martin Davies 158th, Leslie Watson 201st and Cyril Walters 214th. Jake Watson ran in the under 17 race.
