TROTs have been well represented at the last two local races. On Bank Holiday Monday, 10 TROTs ran the four-mile Cwrt Newydd race. Malcolm Adams was sixth and won the third male veteran prize, Roger Coombs was eighth, and Mary Bowen Rees was 15th and was the first female overall. Cyril Walters was 17th, Dewi Jones 22nd, while Claire Clethero was 23rd and won the female open trophy. Dave Griffiths was 26th, Mike Hodges 39th, Lindy Eynon 40th and Ann Rowell 43rd. Last Sunday, over 100 runners ran the Neyland 10Km race. TROTs won both the female and male team prizes. Malcolm Adams was fourth and was the third male veteran, Roger Coombs was eighth, Dewi Jones 11th and Cyril Walters 17th. Mary Bowen Rees was 18th and the first female veteran. Claire Clethero was 23rd and third female in the open category. Lindy Eynon was 42nd, Penny Rees 46th, Mike Hodges 56th, Ann Rowell 57th, Helen Williams 58th and Helen Roberts 75th.
