The seven-mile race at Trefach Manor, Mynachlogddu, was held on Boxing Day. Peter Griffiths was the overall winner in 40 minutes 50 seconds; Malcolm Adams was first male veteran, 43:49. TROTS was the winning team.

The team Pursuit Race was held at Trefach Manor. TROTS were successful in winning both the men's and ladies' team events. Male team comprised Mike Evans, Evan and Ian Williams, Malcolm Adams and Dean John. Female team comprised Mel Watson, Mary Bowen Rees, Claire Cletheroe, Ann Rowell and Pauline Thomas.
