NARBERTH Talespinners are presenting a trio of one-act comedies called 'Two in hospital and one in a goldfish bowl' at the Queen's Hall, Narberth, from Thursday to Saturday, May 8 to 10.
The first two plays are set in a hospital and are classic Frank Vickery comedies. The Drag Factor is a poignant and blisteringly funny account of a husband and wife coming to terms with the fact that their son is gay. Bedside Manner finds loveable, gutsy, human bulldozer Marlene at the centre of a ruse to raise money for a new hospital bed.
Completing what is sure to be a very funny and enjoyable evening is The Extraordinary Revelations of Orca the Goldfish by David Tristram. For Henry Smith and his wife Alice, fantasy has a habit of taking over their lives as secret passions explode. Only their pet goldfish Orca and you will ever know the true story of what went on.
The performance starts at 8 pm and doors open at 7.30. Tickets, at 4.50 for adults and £3.50 for concessions, are available from the Queen's Hall box office on: 01834 861212.
