Tribute was paid to two of Tenby's most well-known citizens by the town council this week.
Speaking at Tuesday's meeting of the council, the Mayor, Clr. Mrs. Christine Brown, said that the town had been saddened over the festive period by the deaths of two its most prominent gentlemen, Mr. Arthur Ormond MBE and Mr. Ken Prosser.
"I would like to pay tribute to both these men and what they did for the local community," she continued.
"Our thoughts are with both families at this time. These men both played prominent parts in various town organisations. They were lovely men and the town will greatly miss them."
Narberth Town Council also paid tribute to former Observer editor Mr. Ormond at their meeting on Tuesday.
"He was a good friend to Narberth over the years," commented Mayor, Clr. Eric Feetham.
Members agreed to send a letter of condolence to Mr. Ormond's family.
