Tributes have been paid to a Tenby man described by friends as a ‘happy go lucky fella’ following his sad passing on the weekend.
Tenby AFC paid tribute to Dean ‘Deano’ Clarke, posting on social media: “We were devastated to hear the sad news over the weekend. Deano was a well known, well liked and well respected member of the community and he will be greatly missed by many.
“As a club we would like to send our sincere condolences to his boys, his family and his friends, our thoughts are with you all at this sad time.
The Club has also asked people to please donate generously in such heartbreaking circumstances, to a justgiving page that has been set up to try and raise funds to get to £3,000 to help Dean’s family fund his funeral. The target has already been surpassed, reaching over £13,000 in just a matter of days.
