New Professional Services at Trefloyne
It's all change in April! After four years of providing professional services at Trefloyne, Christine Burton is retuning home to Australia with her children Kristal and Nick. She has been extremely successful in promoting 'golf as it should be', with particular success in the Junior and Ladies sections of the club. Her efforts contributed to Trefloyne winning the Welsh Junior Golf Club of the Year award, which we are all extremely proud of, and the club now has real strength in depth.
The new professional's appointment is imminent, with a brief to continue to promote junior golf and enhance the men's and ladies' golf development. A structured golf academy for all is to be created, along with squad and team coaching and a vision to create a centre of excellence.
Trefloyne will be pleased to welcome experienced, novice and pure beginners alike to the summer taster days, which will be advertised in this publication.
The team at Trefloyne would like to thank Christine for her efforts and wish her well in her career back in Australia. She will be available for coaching and advice on your golfing needs until the new professional takes up the challenge in mid-April.
