PLAYER PROFILE
As promised, here is this week's player profile. We start with Mr. Graham Harrison. Graham, 69, is this year's Seniors captain. He held this title once before, back in 2006. Graham wishes he had started golf about 40 years ago, but only started when he was 62, due to his neighbour inviting him out for a game.
Graham carries 13 'Heinz' clubs (all sorts), but his favourite is his fairway three-wood. His best and worst handicaps have been 13 and 17, respectively.
Asked what has been his favourite golf course to play, Graham replied with both courses in Sun City in South Africa. He's never met anyone famous in the golf scene, but has from TV.
Graham admires Tiger Woods, saying 'he makes the game look easy', and would most like to play a round with Annika Sorenstam (that's play a round of golf, for all you men with naughty minds).
Two moments (good and bad) that stick in Graham's mind are, being voted Seniors captain and welcoming the wrong team in his Seniors speech. Whoops!
What Graham is hoping to achieve while being captain is to get more seniors involved in the game and to do his best as captain to promote the club.
Thank you, Graham, for taking the time out to do this profile, and we wish you all the best as Seniors captain for the year.
