This week I have to start with an amendment from last week. I stated that Andrew and Michelle were winners of the Dor-Mel Trophy. This was not the case. Although Michelle had the best ladies card, it is the best card of the day overall, this being Andrew Burgess. Sorry if I caused any confusion.

Some of you may have noticed a few little changes going on around the club - all for the better, I hasten to add. There is a new notice board and pathway leading to the first hole, and a new pathway is also in the process of being created around the back of the 10th tee. This will make it easier for buggies and trolleys to get to the pro-shop and the other amenities, as it leads straight from the road at the car park entrance.

There is a new fixture list, for junior events, on the notice board in the pro-shop. The first event coming up is a junior monthly medal. This will be on Saturday, February 7. Please enter in the shop.

And, finally, as we now have new captains, I will be writing up some player profiles, so all the new members can see who their captains are and learn a little about them - watch this space!
