Despite the misty, gloomy weather, for most of the day, there was a good turn-out.

Men or Ducks?
Every Tuesday, stalwarts Lee Morgan and Dave Allen play in the Tuesday competition. A little drop of rain would never put these men off playing. But, how about extreme rain and a waterlogged course?
Well, last Tuesday, they answered that, with a very strong no! They were going to play, no matter what. So off they went. Suffice to say, they were the only two players all day.
Christine came out to meet them as they putted on the ninth, assuming they were coming in as the weather was horrendous. But they were having none of it.
"If we stop now, we'll have to go to work," was one of the replies.
So, finish the back nine they did amidst the laughter, which they started and ended with.
No doubt by the end of the 18 holes, Lee and Dave must have grown webbed feet and are probably still drying out as we speak.
