PEMBROKESHIRE SENIOR LEAGUE

The Pembrokeshire Senior League held its 'Past Seniors Captains Trophy' at Newport Pembs. Golf Club on Tuesday, September 9. All clubs sent their past captains to take part in this event, which resulted in a good turnout.

Trefloyne sent three past captains, Trevor Lewis, Brian Norman and Graham Harrison.

The conditions on the day were not very good, heavy rain and strong winds. But everyone had a good day.

The final result was a good one for Trefloyne. Graham Harrison won the trophy and Brian Norman came second.

Well done Trefloyne.

LADIES CONTINUE WINNING WAYS

Trefloyne's first year in the Ladies Three Counties League was expected to be difficult and the players were going to have to learn the ropes if they were to win against more established clubs. However, the ladies of Trefloyne have been building to this for the last three years and with the opportunity finally achieved, have turned many heads with their strong golf, good pairings and underdog determination.

Following on from their early wins, their form has continued with the most recent win against Ashburnham at home 4-1, despite a few of the regulars not playing due to injury and holidays.

Trefloyne has one match remaining to play against Cardigan away. They currently stand near the top of the league with five wins, two halves and only one loss.
