Roots of trees along Tenby's South Parade are lifting the cobbles and posing a danger to pedestrians, town councillors claimed last week. Members were 'very concerned' about the trees, which also need crown reductions to reduce their height, although it was unlikely that work would be carried out this year, They agreed to write a 'strong letter' to Matt Smail, Pembrokeshire Coast National Park's tree officer, asking for a solution on the grounds of safety.
