This was the scene in the military cemetery, Pembroke Dock, on Sunday morning, after a large tree fell when strong winds battered Pembrokeshire. The Commonwealth War Graves Commission (CWGC) confirmed later that there would be a temporary closure of the the site and the area around the fallen tree to allow it to be removed and the turf area reinstated. “We will restore the graves as soon as we can,” said a spokesperson for the commission.
