A third national company is coming to Tenby, the Observer can reveal this week.

First Sainsburys, then Tesco Express and now Travelodge is looking at potential sites in the town.

A spokesman for the company - the first budget hotel brand to launch in the UK - said they had identified two sites in Tenby and were in talks with developers.

"We very much intend to take one of them," said the spokesman.

"As soon as we exchange, we will announce the site," he continued.

"We fully intend to come to Tenby and are as committed as committed can be."
