Three children, cut off by the tide near Milford, were rescued by RNLI Angle's inshore lifeboat on Sunday.
The lifeboat, Richard John Talbot Hillier, was launched at 4.20 pm, at the request of Milford Haven Coastguard, to go to the aid of the children west of Gelliswick.
One of the lifeboat's volunteer crew members was put ashore to assist the children descend a rock ridge, on which they had sought refuge. They were then helped down, one at a time, into the lifeboat, and transferred to the police RIB M88, watched by the police helicopter, X99.
The children were subsequently reunited, safe and sound, with their parents at the mackerel stage, Milford Haven.
The lifeboat returned to her station at 5.30 pm.
