A number of transport issues within the Tenby Hub Area were discussed at the hub meeting in April supported by PLANED.
Issues raised on the night ranged from the setting up of a transport group, a community bus for senior citizens, prking at Penally Village Hall, public transport provision, especially trains, and ownership and development of land adjacent to Manorbier train station.
A follow-up meeting has been arranged for 7 pm on Wednesday, October 20, at New Hedges Village Hall, to discuss these opportunities and to further develop future transport projects within the Tenby Hub Area, namely the communities of Tenby, St. Florence, Penally, Jameston, New Hedges and Lydstep.
Hatti Woakes, secretary of the North Pembrokeshire Transport Forum, will be in attendance on the evening to give a talk and to help establish a Transport Forum for the Tenby Hub Area.
The meeting is open to all, particularly those who have an interest in transport in the area.
