A report focusing on updates on the work of the Transformation and Innovation Board to be provided to Cabinet on a bi-annual basis, will be presented to Pembrokeshire County Council on Monday (January 12).
A report from the Chief Executive/Director of Resources, will go before PCC’s cabinet. It states: “The Council’s transformation programme has been ongoing since 2016-17, though in more recent years the programme lacked some focus and required review.
“In view of this, and in the context of the extremely challenging financial climate and continuing focus on achieving significant efficiencies, budget savings and service change across the organisation, it was recognised that the Council’s approach to transformation needed to be refreshed, reshaped and reenergised.
“Accordingly, in April 2025 Cabinet agreed to strengthened governance and programme management arrangements through the establishment of a new Transformation and Innovation Board.
“The Cabinet Member for Residents’ Services, the Executive’s lead for transformation, has been appointed Chair of the Board. The Director of Resources acts as the Senior Responsible Officer.”
