A visitor to a church in Tenby on Sunday had an unpleasant surprise.

The lady from Devon had been out walking prior to attending the morning service at St. Johns Church and asked to leave her trainers in the porch while she went into the church as they were muddy.

After the service, she went to put them back on, only to find the trainers, valued at around £100, had been stolen.
