Sir,
I have followed the recent debate on traffic restrictions with growing alarm. There has been a complete lack of opinion expressed by any local people. The only view gaining coverage comes from those who have not lived in Tenby for five minutes.
As a local, I support the system proposed. For my elderly parents it was a joy to be able to walk through town without the threat of vehicles running into them. It was a joy to be able to sit outside various premises and watch the world go by.
The restriction causes me problems, but I accept that it benefits the town as a whole. Surely this is the view most responsible people should adopt?
