Narberth Chamber of Trade have presented the town council with a cheque for a staggering £2,200 as a donation to support the town's Christmas lights. The Mayor, Clr. David Norcross, is seen accepting the cheque from John Willams, treasurer to the Narberth Chamber, while looking on is Clr. Eric Feetham MBE. The money had been raised by donations from Narberth businesses - £880, the public collecting boxes - £540, Clr. Feetham's parking collection - £500 and the Chamber's donation of £280. The Chamber is pleased to be able to pass this record-breaking amount to the town council and wishes to thank all businesses and individuals who have contributed so magnificently to supporting Narberth Christmas Lights.
