Members of the Kilgetty and Begelly Tractor Club continued their efforts to support local charities by holding another highly-successful tractor road run in August.

At a social event, organised by Anthony Allen and Leighton Harries, held recently at the Begelly Arms, a presentation was made to Withybush Hospital CDU Appeal of £600 to help to suport the needs of the new unit.

Margaret Bond, a trustee of the charity, explained that the charity was the only local charity fundraising specifically for the Pembrokeshire Haematology and Oncology Day Unit (PHODU) and gave a short update on how the charity was supporting patients and their families, thanking the group and its supporters for their very generous donation.
