This year the theme for Museums and Galleries Month is 'People: Who Are We?' and focuses on how people can find out more about themselves and their personal heritage. This year, Tenby Museum and Art Gallery is once again participating with a family history research day in which people can trace their ancestry with the assistance of the museum's family historian, Mr. Kevin Thomas. Kevin will take you through various censuses, Tenby marriage and death records, as well as other family history related ephemera. The event will take place at Tenby Museum on May 30, from 10.30 am - 4 pm (with a lunch break at 12.30 pm). An appointment on this day for family history research is not necessary, although it is wise to come prepared with some background information. For further information, 'please contact the museum on (01834) 842809.
