Members were delighted to welcome Rev. Nanette Lewis-Head as their speaker at the November meeting. Always a welcome visitor, Nanette spoke of the Psalms in relation to nature and everyday life. She was warmly thanked by members and was very appreciative of the flowers given as a 'thank you'.
The meeting on Thursday, December 4, will be the last of 2008 and will, of course, have a Christmassy feeling. Tea and mince pies will be served at the close of the programme.
The Guild has been extremely fortunate to have been able to hire the church minibus to take members to St. John's Church in Pembroke Dock for the Federation Carol Service on Saturday, December 6, leaving South Parade at 1.30 pm. There are still a few seats available, so if you have not yet got your programme, please get in touch with Joy or Gwen.
The first meeting of the New Year will be on Thursday, January 8, in St. Johns Church Hall, at 2.15 pm, the format of which is still a bit of a mystery!
