At the November meeting, guild members spent a most enjoyable afternoon in the company of Mrs. Heidi Griffiths, who gave a demonstration of Christmas flower arrangements for the house. Making it all look so easy, she inspired many to 'have a go' and gave lots of tips along the way. Her arrangements were given as raffle prizes to the delighted winners. Joan Webb thanked Heidi warmly for a lovely afternoon. The Tenby team of Rosemary John, Ann Lukes and Joy Griffiths travelled to Swansea on November 15 to take part in the Federation Quiz. Mr. Steve Bolchova, of Swansea Rotary Club, was a very informal quizmaster, putting everyone at ease, and the team was very surprised and pleased to come a very creditable third, with only three points separating the first three teams. The next Federation gathering will be at St. Mary's Church in Port Talbot on Saturday, December 1, for the annual Carol Festival when some of the Tenby members will be sharing a coach with Pembroke Guild. The coach will be leaving South Parade at 10.40 am, calling in at Leeke's at Cross Hands for a quick lunch before proceeding to Port Talbot. The December meeting will take place on Thursday, December 6, at 2.15 pm, in St. Mary's Church House, Upper Frog Street (please note change of venue for this month only), when the Drama Group will provide a short Christmas entertainment, followed by tea and mince pies. Do go along and join members for their last meeting of 2007.
