The impromptu lunch held at Carrington's in May was a great success and very much enjoyed by everyone and it is hoped that Guild may be able to repeat this on another occasion. A meeting will be held at Merryfield, Church Park, on Monday, May 28, when the first play reading for the Drama Festival on September 20 will be held. Any members interested in taking part are asked to be there by 10.30 am. Everyone attending the 50th anniversary of the Federation at Clydach on Wednesday, June 6, is asked to be in the South Parade by 10.20 am. A short lunch stop will be made at Leeke's, Cross Hands. Speaker at the meeting on Thursday, June 7, will be Mr. David Watts, whose subject will be Pembrokeshire Railways.
