Pembroke Dock Town Council held their annual town awards presentation ceremony last Thursday.

Each individual receiving an award did so for their efforts towards their involvement in groups which assist the town of Pembroke Dock.

The awards received were Ron Watts - Award of Merit for all his work within the town and with the Museum Trust; Yvonne Earl - Award of Commendation for her work with the Encompass Group; Beryl Wright - Award of Commendation for her work with the Encompass Group; Mike Hurley - Award of Commendation for his work with the Sunderland Trust; Allan Ross - Award of Commendation for his work with the Sunderland Trust.

Also honoured was Mr. Paul George, who was thanked for his assistance over the past 21 years in the Pembroke Dock Winter Festival.

Everyone was presented with a Sunderland paper weight, keyring and plate.
