Chairman of the Wales Tourist Board, Mr. Philip Evans, visited Tenby on Wednesday to officially open major refurbishment and upgrading work at the town's Heywood Mount Hotel. One of the first schemes in Wales to benefit from Objective One funding, the £300,000 project has seen extensive upgrading to rooms and facilities and the creation of state-of-the art leisure facilities and spa. The scheme was awarded a grant of over £200,000 by the WTB. Mr. Evans is seen cutting the tape, accompanied by proprietors, Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Andrews, and manager of the leisure complex, David Douglas Law.
