Pembrokeshire Tourism invites everyone involved in the tourism industry to attend an open meeting next Tuesday afternoon, November 2, at 2.30 pm, in the Queen's Hall, Narberth. The meeting will feature a few brief presentations. Gary Davies, managing director of the South West Wales Tourism Partnership, will open the meeting. Lowri Edwards, of Gallu, the training arm of Pembrokeshire Tourism, will provide information about grants and opportunities in training for tourism providers. Paul Owen, of Arena Network, will talk about how to green your business and add to your bottom line. Maureen Prentice, chief executive of Pembrokeshire Tourism, will talk about the great opportunities that Objective 1 offers for everyone running businesses in the tourism sector. After the presentations, will be the chance to network. There will be a few specialist consultants available to talk about specific issues, while a representative of Pembrokeshire County Council's licensing department will be on hand to talk to individuals about new liquor licensing laws. West Wales Telecommunications, Web Adept and Gallu will provide advice on telecommunications, web design and administration and training. Pembrokeshire Business Initiative will provide advice on business development. Most importantly, it will be an opportunity to network - to meet the secretariat and directors of Pembrokeshire Tourism to discuss what services and facilities you would like them to develop and the chance to meet like-minded people in your business sector.
