Whitland's Hywel Dda Centre scooped a silver at a recent tourism awards gala at Llanelli's Stradey Park Hotel, held to honour the finest tourism businesses.

The centre came second in the Community Tourism Award category.

Other local holiday enterprises were also recognised on the night, including Glascoed Farm, Llanfallteg, and Ysgubor Fawr on Abbey Road.
