Four top chefs will be demonstrating their skills at the Pembrokeshire County Show next week. The programme of cookery demonstrations has been put together for this year's agricultural show by Pembrokeshire County Council's food team. The four highly-respected chefs will be holding demonstrations every day in the Food Hall. Ludovic Dieumegard, head chef at the Harbourmaster in Aberaeron, will be joined by Lisa Fearne, a regular cook on BBC Wales and S4C, and Michael Hendry, head chef at Llansantffraed Court Hotel near Abergavenny. Also appearing will be Pembrokeshire's Tom Hunt from the Swan Inn at Little Haven. Ludo trained as a chef in his native France, including a period in the Navy, before working under Peter Jackson, the head of the Welsh Culinary Team at Maes y Neuadd, Harlech and then moving to Le Gallois in Cardiff. In 2009, he appeared in 'Masterchef - The Professionals', reaching the semi-finals, and achieved his dream of running his own restaurant 'Ludo's' at The Coopers in Newcastle Emlyn. Last summer, he became head chef at the Harbourmaster, and adores the challenge of taking his vision of food to a wider audience. Lisa Fearn lives on a smallholding near Nantgaredig, Carmarthen, and runs 'The Pumpkin Patch Kitchen and Garden', a cookery and gardening school. A well-known cook on S4C's Prynhawn Da, Heno, Radio Wales, and Radio Cymru, Lisa also teaches cookery at local schools, clubs and organisations around Wales. "I try to link the growing and cooking of our food, bringing a real understanding of where the food comes from and what we can do with it!" she said. "Being a qualified teacher, enthusiastic cook and gardener and an experienced mother, I love the opportunity of being able to share these skills with others." Michael Hendry, originally from Ayrshire, started working at the Crown at Whitebrook near Monmouth in 2003, and was part of the team when the establishment was awarded a coveted Michelin Star the following year. As sous chef, he helped hold the star and has built up a wealth of experience in fine dining. He is passionate about using local produce from Welsh suppliers and the hotel's kitchen garden, and since beginning his role at Llansantffraed Court, he has transformed the hotel's menus. He has introduced dishes such as Cardigan Bay crab sable with crème fraîche, cucumber and apple; Brecon venison served with celeriac, heritage carrot and chocolate and an assiette of garden rhubarb with mascarpone. Tom Hunt completes the line-up of the chefs appearing at the Food Hall. Head chef at the Swan Inn in Little Haven, Tom's speciality is fresh locally-caught fish and he loves to make the most of seasonal produce from the land and sea on his doorstep. Originally from Narberth, Tom is former chef at The Carreg. Throughout the three days of the County Show, there will also be product and recipe tasting of Blas y Tir vegetables, including Welsh leeks.
