The tables were turned recently at Tenby's popular amusement centre, Serendipity, when for once it was they who were receiving the prizes rather than giving them away! Firstly they received the BACTA award, with the four gold star certificate recognising Serendipity as one of Britain's best pay-to-play machine operators. "We're very proud to have won this award, and as it's recognised across the whole of Britain, there was obviously some stiff competition out there," said manageress Anne Davies. "It's a great achievement and a fitting reward for everyone at Serendipity." Serendipity's second accolade was recently achieved at Tenby's Winter Carnival, when they were awarded first prize in the 'best staff fancy dress' category. Continuing with the Yuletide spirit at the St. George Street amusement centre, there will be a free prize draw at Serendipity for every day of the 12 days of Christmas, with a hamper to be won on Christmas Eve.
