IN a week when everyone was rushing to vote for their favourite political party, the Sunday Times was putting together its 'Best List' for holiday destinations. Last year, Celtic Haven in Lydstep won the accolade and now this year Pembrokeshire wins again, with Admiral's Mews in Saundersfoot taking the honours. The five star graded clutch of luxury cottages sits on the cliff top overlooking the village and out over Carmarthen Bay and was described by the journalists as "swish, contemporary and well equipped." The roof terraces and accommodation were called "a brilliant touch" which was really the decider in making Admiral's Mews the best in the UK in this important survey. Daniel Evans, commercial director of The Vox Group that own both Celtic Haven and Admiral's Mews, said: "I am delighted that our Wales based holiday villages are now being rated at the very top of the listings for Britain. It is a credit to all our local team that not only designed and built Admiral's Mews, but also deliver the extremely high standards of client care to win this great accolade." "The only trouble now," he added, "is that we have to get the hat-trick next year!"
