A local councillor has suggested that too many events in Tenby are staged around the harbour area.
Speaking at Tuesday night's meeting of the town council, Clr. Mrs. Trisha Putwain, said that she felt a recent article printed in the press from the organisers of a recent pop-up cinema night, Films4Tenby thanking harbour residents following an outdoor screening of film classic Jaws in the area, came across as 'patronising'.
"We weren't asked or consulted and not told of the event, so are they being patronising?" commented Clr. Mrs. Putwain, who said that she felt that it was 'taking the mickey' with the amount of events that residents had to put up with down the harbour.
"Without being a spoilsport, maybe the time should be coming when they are thinking of slowing up events in the harbour. I know there are rumblings down there about this," she added.
