New sessions for parents and their toddlers are starting at Tenby's De Valence throughout March.

StoryArt on Mondays at 11 am is an interactive and intimate hour of storytelling, drama, rhymes and craft.

On Tuesdays at 11 am, there is Creative Movement with music and movement, rhythm and actions for under 5s and their carers.

These sessions are about providing a quality arts experience for parents or carers and their pre-school children. The sessions are an hour long, giving parents the opportunity to interact creatively with their child under the direction of an experienced drama and dance practitioner.

StoryArt mixes traditional storytelling with songs, nursery rhymes and a practical art and craft activity.

The Creative Movement session encourages co-ordination and movement to rhythm, again with the parent and child taking part together.

Sessions are informal and fun and take place in the main hall at the De Valence.

Ideal age range is for two to four-year-olds. However, younger children are welcome to enjoy the experience at their level. There are only 15 places per session available to keep the sessions intimate, so advance booking is advisable to avoid disappointment on the day.

The first sessions start on Monday and Tuesday, March 2 and 3. Tickets are £3.50 per pair (one adult and one child).
