St. Issell’s Church in Saundersfoot has a new venture taking place on May 20 and 21. ‘To have and to hold’ is a wedding fayre with a difference. The event is aimed at anyone in the local area who might like to find out a bit more about getting married in church.
The fayre will be held in the church and in attendance will be local businesses advertising their wedding services. These will include a photographer, a florist, wedding favours, local hotel, bridal gowns, menswear and of course the Rector, Rev. Marianne Osborne will be on hand to show people around the church and in an informal setting explain what to expect on your wedding day in church.
This is also a chance for anyone to come and have a look inside our church, browse the exhibition of our parishioners wedding photos and maybe enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and a chat.
The weekend will close on Sunday, May 22, with a service held in the church at 5 pm. This will be a celebration of marriage with a superb selection of music, readings and prayers that will inspire you for your big day or remind you of the commitment you’ve already undertaken.
St. Issell’s Church is a popular venue for weddings and is placed in a wonderful setting. Please take this opportunity to come and have a look round inside and see what services our local businesses can provide to make your day even more special.
